a new look for the new year!
woohoo~! my roomie and jinli got their hair cut in mong kok yesterday, and goodness me, they both look good after that! =P if i feel like cutting my hair one day, i want to go cut my hair at that place also. haha =P the place looked a bit shady at first, in my opinion, cos it's on the third level and you know how you got to climb up those narrow staircases to get up there and the feeling associated with the non-ground-level shops you see on TV?? haha. ok i think too much =P
i like the place actually - the people are nice, the service is good, and there's entertainment for you as you cut your hair! they have this LCD screen in front of you so you can catch a movie and have your hair cut at the same time! they were showing hairspray when we were there. =)

and this is jodi, the hairdresser-wannabe. eh babe, you got the pattern lah, if what you study in cs doesnt serve you well in 2 years' time, maybe you can consider a career in hairdressing lah =P

i think the people there must have thought i was super amusing...cos i was just busy clicking away. haha =P
jinli and cuiyi getting their hair cut.....trust me, the hairdressers all very pro (the salon is called hair pro by the way). you should have seen how the guy in grey twirled cuiyi's hair and swish-swoosh-swish-swoosh cut it.

and then you have 2 "very bored" people, who are very capable of self-entertaining (especially with me around =P) waiting for them to be done...

and they are finally done! cuiyi's new hairstyle is really really really nice, changed the whole feel! and jinli's new hairstyle just suits her cool personality so much! =P and it was halfway thru that i realised that cuiyi's hairdresser is actually the boss of the salon! i tell you, he was chewing gum, sitting outside the salon reading a magazine...i thot he was just another customer or dunno-who, 没想到~!(i think he looks like jiu kong btw, and cuiyi thinks he looks like liu song ren) haha =P

to top off the night, i got myself an ORANGE long-sleeved top, and we went k-ing downstairs. yup, right at our hostel! haha =P

alright, cuiyi and i are going out now to......(it's a secret)! =P
