makes a difference...

i just called phoebe. when she picked up, it was a hesitant "hello", i said "hello", she said, "yah...?" i asked her to guess who i was, but of cos that wasn't difficult, just that she was in shock that i would actually call her from hong kong. haha =P that was the reaction mary gave me too when i rang her up. seriously, got so shocking or not?! =P i called because i felt i just needed to hear someone familiar, someone i know and someone who understands me. =) and it was fun catching up on happenings in school (i just got to know a BIG NEWS), just backs up the fact that i am indeed still part of CS. sounds like a serious bout of homesickness eh? haha. but no lah, it's just one of those times when you feel you need someone close to let you know that you are missed and that you can still fall back on them when all else fails here in hong kong.
