layming is mad!
seriously, i think i must have gone crazy. haha =P i intentionally went to catch jay chou at causeway bay when i am not even his die-hard fan!!! read on...
after school ended at 120pm, i went for lunch with the newspaper prac classmates - funny how they think some curry-flavoured fried kway teow is spicy when it is not even a teeny weeny bit spicy!! alamak. i think very difficult to find good chilli crabs here le. haha =P then i came back to drop my stuff, changed a smaller bag and went out again! cos i decided today was my "alone time" (as the other 3 put it), so even if i had a second draft for an article to do, i decided i shall be a "naughty" student for once. haha =P
and so i began my "expedition", first went to sham shui po, cos heard from someone that the things there are cheap. and goodness me, they are really cheap. cos it's actually a wholesale place, but some shops do retail as well and you know what, i saw jeans for 20HKD! OMG. haha. but i reckon those are the kind you cant try on and it's clearance sale kind of thing lah. i wasnt in a shopping mood, so i was just walking around. oh, this is where apliu street is, you rmb there was a hk drama called鸭寮街的金蛋starring bobby au yeung? haha yah =P this is one whole street of electronics, there is a flea market kinda of thing that reminds me of the thieves market (thanks feebs!) back home at bugis. hmmmm. oh but did i say, i think this area is not that much for youths, i think our mummies will be able to buy more things. haha =P

where i started my journey!

apliu street...

i like the po luo bao!! it's cheap and good! only 2HKD! WOOHOO! bought kok-zai at the store also - for my dear roomie! =D

this building caught my eye as i crossed the overhead bridge...it feels so much like a building left behind from the colonial times, and just looked like it doesnt fit in with the rest of the buildings in the area. it's actually a police station! =)

oh oh, it was here at sham shui po that i finally saw those butcher stalls, fruit stalls and vegetable stalls! HAHA =P like really those you see in hk drama! it was like 5plus almost 6 alr, they still have a lot of meat hanging and a lot of people buying lah! it's a pity i dint take photos but i really felt like i just walked into a hk drama and i actually smiled to myself! oh and you know how they always buy roasted chicken / goose / char siew whatever back home to add to the dinner spread? YAH, I SAW THOSE STUFF TOO! like packets and packets of chicken! HAHA =P okok, i was just being over-excited =P
anyway, here comes the highlight, i headed over to times square at causeway bay to catch jay chou at the premiere of his new movie kung fu dunk! yes i really did that! LOL =P i got there at about 6.15pm, realised that there was no crowd at all, like i can stand in the first row kind! woohoo! but the event was only going to start at 9pm, so i thought i should go walk around the place first if not i would have to rot for 3 hours! but er...it dint take me long to decide that i should go there and chope a good spot cos i scared later i go back no more front row space already! so, being not in the mood to walk ard anymore, i turned back, went to grab a fast food meal, went back to the venue and chomped on my food. haha cant believe i actually did that leh =P ehhh i'm feeling hungry as i type this you know.. =( and yes, so i rotted for 2 hours to finally see him! =P though where i stood was considered good spot, but there was like a huge bunch of reporters / cameramen (some are quite cute and cool actually! what you expect me to do for 2 hours?! =P) in front of me so i was blocked at times, but hey i still managed to steal some shots.....(jay chou fans, look here! fresh from hong kong!)

刘耕宏 (think his english name is Will?), A-sa from pop duo twins and jay chou! haha =P that irritating hand and camera you see on the left of the picture ah.......really spoil many of my photos leh...TSK =(

see that hand and camera again?! =( oh, the guy beside jay chou is anthony wong黄秋生! haha =P it's clearer in the next picture....

more jay chou coming up! HAHAHA =)
