day out in tsim sha tsui!

yoohoo!!! it's our first saturday here so of cos cannot stay in hall and be bored to death right? haha =P well, we woke up late today and only set off at 12odd for tsim sha tsui. the last time i came, i only went to the espirit outlet so i was pleasantly surprised to know that there are actually so many other places to shop! but but but but, some things here are quite expensive, and they are actually not suitable for singaporeans to wear with summer all year round. i guess the exchange frens we have were very happy with their "rewards" cos what they bought were cheap, nice, and can be worn back home in europe. oh, i got my first buy of this trip - a jacket that's really nice and comfy, and jinli has a matching one! haha. just that hers is grey and mine is white. =)

anyway, we had lunch at this macau restaurant. i tell you, the portugese egg tart is really to die for!! it was soooooo yummy! hahha. but i thot the price at this place was a little on the high side.

well, after shopping shopping and more shopping, we finally decided to take a rest at 5pm and had hui lau san! woohoo, this was the first time we ate there since we arrived in hong kong on monday. yum yum, i wonder how they make their mangoes taste so nice and sweet! and i thot the carrot cake we had was not bad too. heh heh.

just last night, cuiyi's sister told her that bryan wong blogged about this place in tsim sha tsui that has good wonton mee. i was just asking her, so what's the exact address cos bryan wong dint write! much to our surprise, we actually found the shop while walking pretty aimlessly! i noticed the signboard and exclaimed! haha i have sharp eyes. =P i guess things always happen when you least expect it =) anyway, the wonton was big, fat, fresh and very substantial (i think wontons here in hong kong are all like that!), though i think the sauce was a bit too salty. jinli kept saying her congee is damn good, so if we ever have the chance to go back there again, i shall try their congee then. haha.

we went on to watch the laser show "a symphony of lights" over victoria harbour - at first it was quite good, cos it's something new and refreshing, but after a while it got a little boring. haha =P but oh well, i guess we always have to try something at least once. =)

and this is the only photo in my camera that i appeared in for today's outing...lol =P i guess i enjoy taking photos for other people more than posing for photos. heh =)

and i have some more nice, random photos here.... =)

and this is the last for the night...HAHA =P
