layming the jetsetter.: happening weekend!

this is the 20th post on this blog, just nice, an entry dedicated to a happening weekend to mark the "mini-milestone". haha =P

i mentioned in the previous entry that cuiyi and i were going out, but i dint say where we were going rite? haha. i shall tell you now...we went to catch the japanese star松山研一 (Ken'ichi Matsuyama)at a shopping centre a few stops away from us! haha. erm, fans of death note will know him as "L"!! haha =P cool rite? it was a pretty last minute decision to go, because we woke up at about 2, i saw the online version of the paper i refer to now for info on where celebs will be (=P) and saw that he had some publicity event! LOL. then cuiyi said she dint mind going and so we went. by the way, i dint even watch death note. hahaha =P

before you start thinking that i am damn free whole day go chase stars, i tell you, it just so happens that i have a long weekend due to a free friday, and i have just found a source of such info so yah, it's going to happen a little more often than the first few weeks lah. haha =P and hor, we have work to do okay, we have quite a bit to do for the 221-equivalent here every week. tsk tsk. so yes, i still have work to do. =P

and so that was saturday. i rmb having to do a bit of work on sat night, just so that i could go out to play on sunday without having to worry about it. haha =P

sunday: we went to the chinatown-equivalent at victoria park. it's supposed to be a cny bazaar kind of thing, but then it's so different from what we have back home! i mean, they dun sell new year goodies at all lah! goodness, i was expecting to buy something home to munch for the new year lor! haha =P you will get what i mean when you see the photos....

oh btw, did i mention that the sun was finally out yesterday (i could see the mountain in the distance, dint even know it was there!)?! i was so happy to be able to touch sunshine! haha =P imagine a singaporean saying she's deprived of the sun! -_-

and maybe it's cos of the super ultra clear not-cold weather that a lot of other people were out as well. check out the crowd man! if it was the same situation back in singapore, i think i would have perspired like mad alr, but i dint, even with a decent black jacket (it's new! mummy: =P haha) and a t-shirt!

they have all sorts of different metallic balloons and inflatables. they are really creative, all the very cute stuff!

balloons of all sorts of different cartoon characters. the one right smack in the middle is snoopy. =) and the red-coloured ones are those shaped after the出前一丁noodles, just that they changed the phrase to something suitable for new year, cant rmb what though =P

and these are stools! very cute rite?! haha =P they say the green one on the left looks like me cos i like to stick out my tongue, and also cos of my msn emoticon =P

and then they have things like fried coke and baked ice-cream, both of which we dint try cos it was pretty expensive. so we saved the money and had....

a proper pizza meal! YAY! =D i felt like i ate alot yesterday cos we had jap food for lunch and before we left causeway bay, i had a bowl of pig's stuff - consisting of pig's intestine, skin, erm, turnip / radish (i dunno what)...i cant rmb if there was anything else! HAHA =P

to top off the entry, a group photo! yup, if you rmb, sindy brought us to cheung chau too. she's really nice to bring us around! she's like our hong kong tour guide! haha =P and erm, yah the photo looks weird cos of the pixelation but yah, i have to embargo till further notice. LOL =P
