another post!
okok i know it's me again...lol. i am getting tired (finally!) of updating my blog so often already...so i shall try not to update so often next time? haha. i will just say the fun / interesting / newsworthy stuff ok? wahaha =P
we went away from this area for dinner (finally too!) and headed to mong kok. it was an on-the-spot decision to go, and i kinda like this kind of spontaneous travelling actually. haha. we walked around ladies' street, got some stuffs, and i tell you, jodi is really good. she can speak cantonese pretty well so she can haggle quite easily. hmph. i never knew bargaining could me done so easily -_- hopefully, i will be able to do that myself in a few months' time. haha. so starting from now, must secretly observe jodi and learn the strategies and words she uses. lol. =P since i am on the topic of jodi, might as well talk about the other people who came here with me. i tell you, jinli is really loud, much louder than me i swear, but she has really tickled me since yesterday cos her canto is worse than me, and she breaks out in random songs, singing them in a weird tone and tune that i cant seem to recall the originals -_- and she only sings a line or two from each song. but all these are ok, cos it's funny. HAHa =P
and my roomie cuiyi....erm, well i am still trying to get used to her. haha =P no lah, just kidding. i think we get along pretty well actually, just that some habits are different lah. like she will nv touch her bed before bathing (yin yin, like you!) and even after i bathe, i can only sit at the foot if i want to. haha =P what else ah...OH OH OH, she doesnt know how to squeeze the mop dry -_- so i have to do all the mopping! MUMMY, where are you?! haha =P but ok lah, she cleans stuff with the rags and helps me with the pail, water, and detergent lor. haha. shall not complain, cos at least it's better than having to live with a total stranger =)

we had dinner at this bustling cha can teng, damn happening lah! it was super crowded when we were there, but the food is yum yum. i think they are known for their bow zai fan (claypot rice), and many locals patronise the place so i guess that says something about the eatery? =)

and this is one of the streets we will pass by every time we walk from kowloon tong mtr back to the hostel (we are in the middle of 2 stations). what we know as 四马路 back home sounds really really weird here, cos it's a direct translation! haha. and this is where the old folks' home is located -_-

oh, can you see how much food we already have? goodness, i think we really have to stop buying soon. there are some more things in the fridge man. -_-
alright, am finally done and i shall try to sleep earlier tonight, cos there's orientation (not the rahh-rahh kind) tmr morning. quite impt cos it concerns all the admin stuff like add/drop. i hope i can clear 221 here man. haha =P
ok i conclude that it's crazy for me to wait for the photos to upload every time i blog, so maybe next time i will just choose a few nice ones to put here, then the rest will go to my facebook lah. heh =)
btw, since a few of you asked already, there's no time difference btw singapore and hk. =) OH, and i finally know what the cashier at the supermart was asking - we went to another supermart today - "yao1 mou1 chao3 fan1" means if you accumulate points (it's probably some kind of membership rewards thingy). haha. so proud of myself that i figured it out! =P
