finally a proper hk meal!
hey it's me again! wow, cant believe the frequency at which i am blogging now, hopefully this will continue even after school starts next monday. heh =P anyway, we slept in this morning and only got out at about 1130 to go buy SOME MORE daily essentials. pillows, pails, detergent, doormat, bathroom slippers, bowls, cutlery etc etc etc etc. oh oh oh, i bought another important thing! read on, show you later, it's a "surprise"! LOL =P
though i said "sleep in", but i tell you i was woken up much earlier! i think i sensed cuiyi awake, so i was half asleep alr, but i thot she was early so i decided to wait for the alarm clock to ring. the thing is, i couldnt get back to sleep, cos someone was talking into the loudhailer not far away from us, then cuiyi said it was 930am (ONLY!) i was thinking, why do i have to wake up sooooo early when we were only meeting at 11!? when i climbed out of bed, i saw some guys wearing yellow jackets just outside our window! only then did i realise i was staying right beside the fire brigade and they were having some kind of training i suppose! if every morning is going to be like that, i think i dun need the alarm clock anymore -_- so now i know there's a fire brigade, that explains why i heard PA announcements even at 2am last night.
see those small little yellow figures?? they were the ones who were just outside our window lor, as in, they were on the thing that elevates them to higher ground? haha. scared they could see us, so we took from far far. =P
alright, shall not chronicle everything that we do, cos i think you guys will get bored after a while. haha. but but but, we finally ate a proper hk meal!! =) let me share some pictures with you then! =)
i tried to speak canto, but i really dunno how to pronounce this, so i spoke chinese. but now i know! it's called heung1 gu1 gong3 yuen2（香菇贡丸）!! HAHAHA. and their mee kia here is called yau min（幼面）. woohoo! i feel like i know alot of canto alr. LOL =P
and this is cuiyi with her char siew fan. haha.
and we said we will take a self-shot everyday. haha. i say, we will only do that if we can have a different background everyday. heh. and this is us outside guardian (they call it mannings here) at lok fu shopping centre (this is a place that's like our neighbourhood town centre) while waiting for jodi and jinli to get their soap and shampoo etc.

I BOUGHT BAK KWA ALREADY!!!! lol =P got offer lah, dun buy now then buy when! i saw the shop, i remembered my friend bringing some back from hong kong and i loved it, so i went in to take a look, and i really found the exact same thing i was looking for! best thing was they had a promotion, buy one get one free!! ok yes you are going to say i am damn auntie, but i dun care! haha =P we just tried some here in the room...YUM YUM!
