day 100!
whopee!! day 100 here in hong kong, that's considered a mini-milestone right?? haha =P we have almost spent a third of the year here, scary how fast time flies. anyway, since it's day 100, we had a celebration! hahaha ok it's more like a coincidence. we had good food and we went to chase stars - 2 of jinli's favourite-est stars. photos to follow!
firstly, we had yummy lunch at the macanese restuarant! =) yum yum. i really live to eat man. =P after which we went to pay the rest of the money for our KOREA trip! don't ask me where exactly we are going, cos i have no idea too. haha i only know it's seoul - no time to do research now la =/
then then, here comes the highlight! well actually, we were at tsim sha tsui because the travel agency is there, and guess what? there were 2 events there today!! hahaha. the first was the opening of a new shop selling beauty products and cosmetics and the like. so who were the celebrities who graced the event??
LEILA TONG! ehhh her chinese name is 唐宁. she's one of the actresses i like alot! she wasn't on the list of celebs when i saw the event listing in today's papers, so so so, it was a really pleasant surprise! =)
her with a host of other celebs whom i cant put a name to... =/
but the big shot wasn't her. the biggest star of the show was charmaine sheh, one of jinli's favourite!! =)
because the shop faces nathan road, one of the main (and i mean MAIN) roads in kowloon, people were almost spilling over on to the road. when charmaine sheh and 3 others arrived in a posh car (was it a open-top benz??), photogs and passers-by alike spilled onto the roads, even though it was like green light for vehicles. =/ anyway, pictures pictures pictures!
celebs from left: xiong dai lin - a model, but better known as aaron kwok's girlfriend, mandy cho - i saw her before, go trackback to one of my entries here if you are interested, charmaine sheh, and i dunno the last girl - probably a model too.
i really wish i can just chop off the heads of the photogs / cameramen in front of me. haha. although it's not that difficult to find a good spot to see the celebs when we chase stars here, i can nv get photos with nobody blocking me. =/
this was taken by cuiyi when charmaine sheh was doing an interview with tvb and i was on the phone with feebs (thanks ah!) to double check the venue for the next event.
what's the second event?? some opening ceremony of a shoe shop at harbour city, also in the tsim sha tsui area, near the avenue of stars. =) and who's there? sonija kwok, who also happens to be jinli's latest craze!
and this girl, i dint know who she was until cuiyi and jodi told me she's the one who acted as a couple with ron ng in 《男人之苦》. i googled and found that her name is 梁靖琪 toby. she used to be in a girl group called 女生宿舍. =) i think she looks a bit like tavia yeung.
see what i mean by wanting to chop off people's heads?! =P
apparently, when sonija kwok was walking towards the shop, she held eye contact with jodi and cuiyi for more than a few seconds because she saw that i was trying to take photos of her. but my camera was in the macro mode (was shooting food earlier -_-) so i couldnt take nice pretty pictures! SO ANGRY WITH MYSELF !! =( on the other hand, our dearest jinli managed to be part of the press and i bet her photos will be super pretty! i bet jinli will be high for a long while tonight, poor jodi. haha =P
i think this must be the best photo i have of the evening. jinli in action. haha. now you know why she will have pretty pretty pictures in her camera?!
jinli wanted me to help her take a photo "with" sonija kwok...being so far away and without a professional camera, this was all i could manage...hahaha =P
yah la! she still managed to take a photo with her newest idol!! and she even shook her hand! hahaha. jinli was ecstatic after that, say dun want to wash hand some more. hahaha =P
you know, i really hope that we dun appear on papers tmr. =/ cos the press was allowed into the store, while the general public was kept outside, could only shoot through the glass panels and all. then there were those irritating photogs (one of them was one of those i met when lydia sum passed away and i even asked him who just went up to the apartment when the hk press started snapping) who kept taking photos of the crowd outside - like we are really fans of sonija kwok like that. TSK TSK. hahaha luckily this is hong kong la, in singapore sure damn throw face. LOL =P
anyway, a couple more photos here to round up the post...
