da jie's visit part 3!
right..i am multitasking now - eating noodles, waiting for the photos to be uploaded, reading jap and going to do my article later. but this cant drag until i come back from taiwan, that would be toooo long later. haha =P shall try to keep things short and sweet then =)
i'm sorry friends, i know you all say it's all about food here, but errrr...there's really a lot to eat here lah! haha =P on day 6 of my da jie's visit, which was friday, we woke up really really late! we only got up at 1pm!! anyhows, we headed to city hall for dim sum at maxim's palace, which was really quite expensive! WOAH. like 380HKD for the 2 of us you know! though the food was very delicious, really of high quality, but still! that's even more expensive than the pair of track shoes my da jie bought! haha =P
we walked walked ard in central for a while before i headed for an interview with a Kinesiologist. ehhh it's difficult for me to explain what kinesiology is, but it's basically testing your muscle response to tell what's wrong with you. it was really really cool and amazing. like how the kinesiologist would ask me to exert force in my hands agst his force and i would have no strength when i said something like, "i am sarah", which is untrue and your body is "stressed" by it, so the energy in you doesnt flow properly. i couldnt counter his force too when he placed a bag of common substances people are allergic / sensitive to on my stomach - meaning i had some sensitivities, and later we found that it was aluminum. there's mercury and uranium in me as well... =/ but you know what? somehow after he placed some health supplements on my stomach together with the toxins, i could counter his force again! AMAZING!
then i told him about my thyroid problem. so he tested my other systems using muscles - apparently, there wasnt enough energy in my heart, liver and large intestines, so he was thinking if the thyroid took some energy from these places. and after he did some stuff - which i dunno how to describe / explain, there really was a difference! like my legs could suddenly counter his force, and that meant the thyroid was indeed sucking on the energy of the large intestines! omg! hahaa. i was dumbfounded lor! he could even tell me that something sad / depressing happened to me when i was 5 years and 3 months that could have contributed to my thyroid problem partly and that incident had something to do with a male. i thought very hard, i dunno what happened then. it could me something to do with my younger brother or my dad or even the passing of my uncle (but da jie says it's not that time....). oh wells. whatever it is, it was a super amazing experience. hahaha. like magic! lol =P
anyway, at night i finally had my dai ga lok for dinner =) i wanted so much to try their mini-steamboat thing i always saw when i ate at the kfc beside that place with the other 3, but for some reason, they dint have that that day! =( but i had yummy hotplate pork chop with rice lah. i really love the pork chops / spare ribs / pork ribs here in hk..very tender! =)
and check out my da jie's buys man! no wonder she burnt a big hole in her pocket lah! haha =P let me tell you what she bought....
10 tops, 1 pair of jeans, 3 skirts, 1 cardigan, 3 pairs of heels, 1 bag, 1 pair of track pants, 1 pair of track shoes, 3 pairs of socks. and she paid for my new adidas sneakers and most of the meals! hahah =P
on saturday, we went cycling at sha tin. the weather was very good, albeit a little too hot -_- we were sunburnt at the end of the session can?! but it was good exercise lah! wanted to cycle to the tai po waterfront promenade but dint have enuf time so we stopped about 1.55km before we reached there....ehh we cycled for about 19km in 2 hours? yup. haha =P

where we stopped for a break before heading back to the starting point. =)
we were just cycling along this long long long long designated route, but there were some pretty sights along the way lah so could stop now and then to take some photos and stuff lor =)

we cycled through this place called pak shek kok where there was a pretty promenade and what i think was the science park with some very modern architecture. =)
and yes...more food coming your way. haha. check this out!! we had la mian and xiao long bao - tasted very much like singapore's at sha tin new town plaza!! WOOHOO~! i was so happy can cos i haven had this since i came here! i miss it!
and we had man ji dessert - the one that i had in sai kung, remember? =) da jie says the dessert is really good! haha =P
then to "celebrate" the last night of my da jie in hong kong, we had a late steamboat dinner! we went to the dao heung branch in mong kok slightly before 9, and my goodness, there was already a queue! -_- cos having steamboat after 9 was cheaper. hahaha. and we really ate to our hearts' content, as the photos will testify to that....haha =P

da jie: "what am i going to put in next? what should i eat?" hahaha. oops she's going to kill me when she sees that i put this up cos i think she dint know that i took this photo =P anyway, look at the amount of food we had for 2 people!! =P we ordered too much lah, though we ALMOST cleaned them all. hahaa. i ate until i felt like puking at night. haha =P
and da jie wanted to have dim sum again before she went home...so there we go, this time dim sum at ho choi in tsim sha tsui. a very satisfying and fulfilling meal cos we ate quite a bit, and the price was much cheaper than maxim's. heh =P like less than 15sgd for each of us. yum!
so that kinda brings me to the end of my sister's visit...i really had a lot of fun and was really happy that i could eat all sorts of different stuffs i usually dun when i'm here. just that by the end of my sister's visit, i think i grew a bit scared of all the food. hahaa. we REALLY ATE ALOT. omg. -_- hahaha.
okay i need to go back to my article now...will have to finish up the bulk of it now, before i speak to another source tmr and rushing it all out before going for astro, after which i will be flying off to taiwan!! woohoo~! you know what? i dun really have an itinerary to follow, just know that i am going to shilin tmr night, then sightsee a bit on thursday before jumping onto the midnight train to kaoshiung (i think??) where we will take a bus to kenting! WHOPEE! hahaa. another new page to add to my travel journals! =D
alrite alrite, got to stop here. if not tonight really no need to sleep alr. =X
